Adrienne, Jesse and baby Theo invited their families and friends all the way from Seattle and elsewhere to celebrate their winter wedding at Sea Cider House. It was by far the rainiest and darkest night of all of December. I mean downpour. Yet Adrienne kept her hopes up and nothing phased her and sure enough on the ride down to the venue the skies opened up, just like that, just enough for their sweet 15 min forest ceremony. Night fell exactly following their embrace and delicious hot chocolate and cider awaited inside. Adrienne opted to hold Theo down the Isle rather than flowers, catered by the reputable Toque Catering, getting ready at Heartwood and Co. and of course the great staff at Sea Cider.
Kim and Craig threw a classy and fabulous post wedding party at the E&N Roundhouse in Vic West, following their intimate wedding a month before. Kim (also a talented wedding photographer and friend) asked me to shoot only for a few hours but to mostly party, which I did happily! They did a circle with all their 130 friends holding hands and quietly wishing them goodness. A heartfelt moment and my word these two are much loved! Talented to boot too, they planned the whole event with the following award-winning Toque Catering, flowers by Rose Florals, Dress from Blush, Rentals from Wise Co, and finally Dj Truth Sound Systems. Superb party!
are childhood friends and rediscover each other on Facebook after 50 years with filled hearts and absolute love for each other! Their intimate wedding was held at the Arbutus Ridge Golf Club. Easy to admire these two and their lightness of being! One of the family members took to heart to film them with their phone. He circled the couple while their vows were taking place. Later I learned he had the mission to film live for the parents who could not make it. I thought ok, I can live with that and I'll make him part of the story too:)
